Thoughts on a bully

Hello, Faith full friends! Helena here!

Kitty, my friend in Cali, sometimes send me things that she thinks I would like. She clips them and mails them "old school"!!! LOL!!! Articles and recipes and etc.

She takes the Los Angeles Times and she just sent me an article about Stephen Miller. Have you heard about this man? I think he is the next "Elon Musk" -- someone unsavory who is bending our dear President's ear and making him do bad things. I looked up some pictures and he has those empty eye's like Musk when he was being controlled by the devil!!!

One line in the article that caught my eye reads "The 39 year old has remained essential through Trumps second term, piloting an immigration platform that has sowed fear across wide swaths of the country - nowhere more so than greater Los Angeles, where federal agents have mounted a relentless assault on immigrants , sweeping up thousands in deportation raids."

The article is titled "Stephen Millers revenge plot plays out" and the author is Julia Wick if you want too look it up. I am not able to see it on the computer but maybe some of you can.

This article tells about how Mr. Miller was kind of a mean bully back in high school and I think he is continuing that and steering President Trump in this deprotation thing!!!

I'm feeling many different ways. I do want the criminal illegals OUT of our country. But I do not like what I am seeing about what they are doing with ICE. People are scared!!! and President Trump said quite clearly that he was not going to hurt the farmers and take away there workers but they are!!! And other worker's are not going to work because there afraid!

And now I learn as I was writing this that a man died in California from a ICE raid!!! Oh no I am just so sad.

I dont like the idea that this Miller guy is "piloting the immigration platform" because Mrs. Noem is the leader of ICE not Miller! I don't want him telling the President what to do because I dont trust him and as much as I do want to keep a handle on illegals most importantly the criminals, I dont think this is the right way!!! It is scary and I do not at all like that Alligator Alcatraz place. It looks very bad and not a place to house people. Arent they supposed too be sending the criminal illegals home? Not keeping them in what look's like a very bad place!!!

Anywoo this is worrying me but Im not sure what all we can do. I've left a message on Representative Schmit's line and I hope that maybe he can help stop the scary ICE stuff and get back to orderly deportations. Maybe you can call your representative too. This is how I do it by going here: https://www.congress.gov/members

My family came from Ireland. I feel like if America hadn't been here to escape the potato famine I would not be here either. I was always taught that God answered my family's prayers when he showed them the way to America. This has always been in my heart.

“Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.” Exodus 23:9

One more note. Please pray for our Kerrie and her dear husband Johnny. They have been through alot lately.

Stay faithfull, my dear friends!

Love, Helena

  1. Helena, you are saying what I am feeling SO MUCH. Have you seen the news out of Nebraska that family farms are all in danger. They can't sell their soybeans because of the tariffs and none of their workers are showing up to pick anything. They may lose EVERYTHING that their ancestors worked to give them. It makes me so sad and I don't know what to do, but I will call my rep and senators too.

  2. Hi Helena! I am one of Amber's coworkers. I am actually the one who made the pepper bet :-) I just love how you are asking questions and how you care about the lives of immigrants. You should perhaps know that when the Irish came over they were regarded as drunk, dirty, lazy, disease-ridden stupid and taking advantage of our country. They did the work no one wanted to do (countless men died building our railroads for example. There was a lot of push back because the Bosses of places like New York City would round up the Irish and have them go vote for the Bosses. The people already in this country resented them and wanted the "vermin" out. Same story with the Italians who came a little later. All of this rhetoric should be very very familiar. Only it is now us, with that Irish blood in our veins, saying the same vile things about the newest immigrants.
