GOOD AFTERNOON my Dear Ones. Today we had a good sermon in Church about forgiveness. I will think on it abit. I am afraid I hold a grudge too long and am prideful (when I should be FAITH FULL). But I do try to pray and so that I can do better. I often pray as I do my chores. When my hands are busy, my mind can do its little best. Thats even more true when I am baking for Johnny or the boys when they were little. So I put together a recipe that I like to make up for Johnny to have with his breakfast. I got the recipe from his mother along with her potato salad recipe. And I added a few verses for us right now as we stand against satan as he goes about destroying our dear Nation. Please may this Cake and its Prayers sweeten and strengthen our fight!

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I
fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be
afraid?
Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because
of my oppressors.
Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses rise up against me,
spouting malicious accusations.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of
the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord; be strong and
take heart and wait for the Lord.
Revelations 20:7 …
When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out
to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and
Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on
the seashore. They marched across the breadth of
the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he
loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And
the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where
the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be
tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Acts
26:15
15 “Then I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’
“ ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ the Lord
replied. 16 ‘Now get up and stand on your
feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness
of what you have seen and will see of me. 17 I will
rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending
you to them 18 to open their eyes and turn
them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that
they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are
sanctified by faith in me.’
Ephesians 6:10
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put
on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s
schemes."
Romans 16:17
17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to
watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are
contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For
such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they
deceive the minds of naive people. 19 Everyone
has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want
you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.20
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your
feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the
serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere
and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes
to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you
receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different
gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough….
12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the
ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us
in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false
apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of
Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself
masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising,
then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end
will be what their actions deserve.
16 I repeat: Let no one take me for a fool. But if you do,
then tolerate me just as you would a fool, so that I may do a little
boasting. 17 In this self-confident boasting I am
not talking as the Lord would, but as a fool. 18 Since
many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast. 19 You
gladly put up with fools since you are so wise! 20 In
fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or
takes advantage of you or puts on airs or slaps you in the face. 21 To
my shame I admit that we were too weak for that!
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled
your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself
some of the money you received for the land?
Acts 5:3
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so
filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept
for yourself some of the money you received for the land?
John 8:44 (for Johnny)
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your
father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in
the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his
own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
