What a week! Monday was your typical day, but then Tuesday the wind started to blow in like crazy. With the State of the Union Address that night, it felt like an omen somehow of the darkness that is sweeping this country and the darkness seeping into the White House. The sky turned black. It was frightening I can tell you!
On Wednesday, I decided to do a thing! I have a friend Teri who is a democrat, but not the kind that hates us. She is the kind that always volunteered to be team mom for little league team. Anyway she told me she has been calling our senators and Chip Roy about how she feels every day. She said that its my government too and that they should hear from me if I am concerned, which I AM (see, she's a good person.)
I was pretty scared too try because I hate to call people and I still worry that people will judge me, but anyway, I did call! You can leave a message or you can talk to a person. I was shaking so hard but I had my big girl panties on and the lady on Ted Cruz's phone was so sweet. She promised to tell Ted. On Cornyn, I didn't get ahold of a real person, but i left a message. So EASY.
I just spoke from my heart about my fears for our President and how Satan is working through Elon Musk to bring him and our Great Nation down and how hard I am praying for him and how many people in my church are paying. If you want to try: call 202-224-3121 and they can put you through. That works for any person in any state to get to the right person.
I even got my courage up to call the number for our President!!! Can you believe it? But its weird you can only call from Tuesday to Thursday from 11-3 which doesn't seem enough. There's probably so many people calling to tell him they love him that they had to cut back at bit because they are so busy making America Great again.
BUT HERE IS THE BIG NEWS! On Friday, I read that there was a Cabinet meeting and Elon Musk was there and the Cabinet and Elon was talking and the Cabinet and the President told Elon NO, he isn't the boss of them. I just know our prayers are working! Every prayer strengthens our President and keeps him out of Satan's reach!!

I am Presbyterian, and probably a lot less conservative than you, but you raise some interesting points. I definitely think some people in the administration have sold their souls to work there. I cannot understand why they would do such cruel things as cut off aid to starving children in Sudan or get rid of research for childhood cancer or even fire all these veterans.
